Board approves ECLC transportation, contingent Wilson bus stop and a staggered kindergarten start

On early-education logistics, Sheila Shaffer and Mrs. Laas presented a staggered start model for kindergarten to ease students’ transitions. Under the plan, Group A would attend Aug. 15 and 19 and Group B on Aug. 18 and 20. The board approved the proposal 7-0 and directed staff to implement the schedule.
The board’s minutes note the contingent Wilson stop requirement and do not list which board member voted against the Wilson motion.
