The City of Eastborough council voted unanimously Jan. 28 to approve claims totaling $224,104.96, moving forward on routine payments for municipal operations. Council member Andrew Standifer made the motion and Jacque Arredondo seconded; the motion carried without recorded dissent.
Treasurer Eugene Miller presented the city's January financial snapshot, reporting $604,662.36 in total revenue and $190,403.42 in total expenditures for the month. Miller said the city's unencumbered cash and investments stand at $1,816,438.81, figures council members accepted as presented.
The approval of claims and the treasurer's report conclude the city's monthly routine financial business; no amendments or follow-up directions were recorded during the meeting.
