"Nothing contained in this resolution shall be construed as authorizing or approving the sale, lease, transfer or other disposition of the former town hall property," the board read aloud in the final paragraph of the resolution packet.
The town attorney reported that title searches for both affected properties had been ordered and would be reviewed ahead of the next meeting. Board members asked that those conducting appraisals coordinate with members who have already begun preliminary work so the process is inclusive.
Board action: The Town Board approved Resolution 709 of 2026 to authorize evaluation of the former town hall property; the motion passed by voice vote. No sale or expenditure was authorized.
