Metcalfe County board appoints John "Wes" Jolly to District 1 seat

The board had entered closed session earlier in the meeting "to consider appointment of board member to fill vacancy of District 1," then returned to open session and approved the appointment. Superintendent Josh Hurt thanked all applicants and said the district appreciates community members willing to serve.
