Board renews student insurance with K&K for 2025–26 at same price

The Metcalfe County Board of Education voted Feb. 10 to renew student insurance for the 2025–26 school year with K&K Insurance, brokered through Roberts Insurance, at the same coverage and price.
HR representative Stacey Slinker recommended keeping K&K and told trustees the renewal offers the same coverage at the same cost. Kelly Bell moved to approve the renewal; Wes Jolly seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Superintendent Josh Hurt had flagged the item in his opening report and reiterated that the renewal was included as action item 5B on the agenda. No board member raised objections during discussion.
