The Town Council unanimously approved a conditional use permit for a bed-and-breakfast at 517 Longwood Avenue (the Longwood Inn). The planning commission had recommended approval by unanimous vote at its July 2 meeting, and Councilman Stacy Haley moved approval, seconded by Councilman Jay Ippolito.
Applicant Matt Davidson told the council the Longwood Inn would operate similarly to how it had been run under previous ownership; council members asked about driveway access and traffic and were told existing patterns would not change. The council recorded a unanimous roll-call approval of the permit, 6–0 (Councilman Todd Foreman was absent).
