Goddard to require stronger sound-separation assemblies in new duplex construction, council approves supplement

Council recorded affirmative votes and directed city attorney/staff to add clarifying language if needed to ensure the supplement does not unintentionally lower any existing requirements. Staff also announced a new building inspector, Andrew, will begin inspections July 1 and will handle residential inspections going forward.
