Gold Hill adopts ordinance moving utility billing due date to 20th of month

Gold Hill ' The City of Gold Hill adopted Ordinance 24-04 at its Dec. 3 meeting, updating the municipal utility-billing due date and authorizing future administrative updates by resolution.
During the second reading the ordinance was read by title and the council moved to adopt. Staff told the council the ordinance will take effect in 30 days and that the city will send notice to utility customers. "Beginning in 2025, the billing due date will be the 20th of the month," staff said.
The measure passed on a council roll call; staff said notices will be mailed to give customers ample warning before the new due date takes effect.
