Chanceford Planning Commission re-elects Shanbarger as chair, approves minutes and adjourns

Chairman John Shanbarger opened the Chanceford Township Planning Commission meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Feb. 17, 2026, at the Chanceford Township Building in Brogue and led those present in the pledge of allegiance.
The commission completed its annual reorganization. Mark Bupp moved to nominate and elect John Shanbarger as chairman; Ross Strack seconded, Bruce Miller closed nominations and the motion carried. Marla Allen moved to nominate Bruce Miller as vice chairman; Ross Strack seconded and the motion carried. The commission welcomed new members Christopher Dolly and Douglas King.
The commission approved routine minutes. Mark Bupp moved to approve the minutes dated Oct. 21, 2025; Bruce Miller seconded and the motion carried. Bruce Miller then moved to approve the minutes dated Nov. 18, 2025; Mark Bupp seconded and the motion carried.
There were no submittals or sketch plans recorded for this meeting. With no public comment or other business, Marla Allen moved to adjourn; Ross Strack seconded and the motion carried. The meeting was adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
