Alliance Fire & Rescue reports rising calls, missing 2021 invoices; new engine expected by June

Tyler Burkins, speaking for Alliance Fire & Rescue Services, reported that the company responded to 87 calls in February and 100 calls in March, with 14 of those calls occurring inside Chanceford Township and seven classified as medical. Burkins said the relief audit is still incomplete because Alliance is missing invoices from 2021 and that Alliance will reimburse the relief fund for those missing items.
Burkins also told the board the new engine will be in service by June and noted that gun- raffle tickets are available as a fundraiser. The board recorded the report; no formal board action on the fire company finances or equipment was taken at the meeting.
