Board flags Game Club Road damage as PPL substation work proceeds; bond not yet received

Anderson said the township is awaiting receipt of the required bond. Heffner said he has been monitoring road conditions; board members did not report any bond in hand as of the meeting. The engineer also noted related project timing in the engineer’s work: stormwater clearances, NPDES forms and PNDI Bog Turtle-related reviews for related recreation-property work tied to the PPL materials delivery schedule.
The board did not take a separate vote at the meeting on the PPL road accounting; rather, the engineer’s report and the bond estimate were entered into the record for follow-up. The board’s next steps include continued monitoring, finalizing the Road Use Agreement and confirming bond posting before major resurfacing work proceeds.
