Geary County public works approves two new farm access points, updates on chip-seal and courthouse repairs

The county submitted an insurance claim and received Stanfield's estimate of $14,595.08; Myers said the insurer (K Camp) approved the proposal and a check for $9,595.08 will be issued after a $5,000 deductible. He requested authorization to sign the repair proposal and schedule work.
Myers also updated the commission on a USDA loan and grant package referenced in the record (transcript: "Bridal Development") — a $136,000 loan and a $197,000 grant — and said KDHE documentation remains in process before final loan paperwork is executed.
