District seeks board approval to use CMGC procurement for seismic and roofing work

They emphasized the process will be competitive: the district will issue an RFP and evaluate proposals on qualifications and price rather than a simple low-bid ITB.
Board members asked about conflicts and fairness; staff said legal counsel reviewed the approach and that selection criteria and scoring would be public. The board later approved fact-finding and authorization to proceed with the CMGC procurement steps on the motion calendar.
