Committee to review Open Space and Recreation Plan; assessor data to inform maps

Chairman Louis Caruso reported on a virtual meeting he and member Richard Conklin attended with Barbara Davis of The Land Conservancy to review the municipality’s Open Space and Recreation Plan.
Caruso said the current plan will be reviewed and recommendations will be drafted; staff will collect data from the Tax Assessor to complete accurate maps and support recommendations for the Open Space Element. Committee members did not take formal action on the plan at the March 4 meeting.
The update was listed under old business and will be followed up as the committee refines planned changes to maps and recommendations.
