Monroe asked the board to plan a ribbon-cutting ceremony for Monday, May 4 at 3:00 p.m.; the library will invite the ramp designer and a reporter from the Richfield Reaper. No formal vote was required for the update, which the director described as a near-complete facilities project with minor supplier delays.
Board members did not raise objections; the director said staff will confirm installation dates once the correct parts arrive and will proceed with the planned ceremony.
