Lawnside adopts consent agenda naming redeveloper, refers redevelopment amendment and introduces 2026 municipal and EEOC budgets

Lawnside ' The Borough Council adopted its consent agenda on May 4, approving four resolutions as a block: Resolution No. 60-2026 naming Pine Street Ventures LLC as redeveloper for the Bell Avenue Redevelopment Area (Block 402, Lot 8) and approving an agreement for sale and PILOT; Resolution No. 61-2026 referring the proposed amendment to the Bell Avenue Redevelopment Plan to the Planning Board for review; Resolution No. 62-2026 adopting the 2026 EEOC budget for the governing body; and Resolution No. 63-2026 introducing the 2026 municipal budget.
Councilperson Eric J. Wilcox, Sr. moved to adopt the consent agenda and Mayor Rhonda Wardlow-Hurley seconded. The roll-call votes recorded Councilmembers Wardlow-Hurley, Wilcox and Wright-McLeod as voting in favor and Councilmembers DeAbreu, Lee and Pollard as absent. The meeting record does not include the terms of the PILOT, the sale price or supporting documents for the redeveloper selection, nor does it include departmental presentations about the EEOC budget or the municipal budget's line-item totals.
Councilwoman Wardlow-Hurley used the remarks portion of the meeting to congratulate Nana Cauthorne and her drill team on recent competition winnings, to invite community participation in school-board meetings and the centennial committee, and to wish residents a Happy Mother's Day; the meeting adjourned at 12:13 p.m.
