Stat. 70.46(4).
Assessor Brian Frank of Frank Assessment Services, LLC, confirmed that the tax assessment roll was complete and that Open Book had been held. The clerk noted that one objection had been filed with the Clerk’s Office but that no owners were present when the board first convened; the board temporarily adjourned at 5:18 p.m. to allow an owner the opportunity to appear.
The board reconvened at 7:05 p.m. for the scheduled hearing on the objection concerning the property at 531 W John St, Markesan. The property’s representatives did not appear; Ald. Pat Prill moved and Ald. Joseph Kazda seconded a motion to deny the objection and uphold the assessment, and the motion carried 3-0.
Following that action the board again adjourned until a property owner could appear. The board briefly reconvened at 7:16 p.m.; no additional property owners appeared during the required two-hour session. Ald. Kazda moved and Ald. Prill seconded a final motion to adjourn the 2026 Board of Review, which carried 3-0. Clerk/Treasurer Tamra M. Harrington signed the minutes.
