County finance staff reported a total of $579,703.02 in bill payments at the July 21 meeting and described several of the larger items included in the packet.
Staff said the county will pay Esri $60,300 for an enterprise GIS license and a CJIS (Justice Information System) payment of $80,083.72. Retainage to Peters Construction for work on the VA building was listed at roughly $116,861.11, and the county will purchase a mini excavator from Murphy Tractor and Equipment for $71,300. Staff also noted a work‑comp payment of $39,582 and a sheriff bond payment of $5,204.31.
The board moved and seconded the resolution authorizing these expenditures and directed the county auditor to issue payments against allowed claims.
