Fulshear annexes Eagle Landing Park into city limits

The Fulshear City Council voted Jan. 6 to annex Eagle Landing Park into city limits and noted that zoning for the park will be considered by the Planning & Zoning Commission before returning to council.
A city staff member told council that signs had been posted at the site and that the park is located off Woods (Jordan) Road; the annexation ordinance brought the park into the city for use as a city park. Staff said the zoning application is scheduled for Planning & Zoning on the 9th and that zoning would return to council on the 20th for action.
Council approved the ordinance by voice vote.
