The Select Board reviewed several planning and infrastructure items at its July 7 meeting and staff said it is seeking a new Planning Board alternate.
The board recorded that a Planning Board alternate did not reapply; staff posted the vacancy on the town website, on Facebook and in the Town Office. In public comment, resident Ted Baker announced the Planning Board will hold a training session on Aug. 8 at 5 p.m. before its regular meeting.
Board members reviewed a BRIC grant application (document referenced in the meeting), a Notice of Intent to File for a bridge crossing and a public notice from Cross Excavation; the minutes do not record formal board action on those notices. The board also noted Central Maine Power will remove a split ash tree at a property identified as David Lowell's near 130 Branch Road.
Information on junkyards was distributed and the topic was placed on the next meeting's agenda for further discussion.
