Town Review Board approves minutes, sets next meeting and action items

The Melbourne Village Town Review Board convened March 21, 2025, approved minutes for the Feb. 21 TRB meeting and the Jan. 10 TRB workshop, and recorded action items and scheduling decisions.
Karen Hoffken moved to approve the Feb. 21, 2025 TRB minutes; Peter Frontero seconded and the motion carried with all members present voting yes. William Betts moved to approve minutes for the Jan. 10, 2025 TRB workshop; Peter Frontero seconded and that motion also carried with all present voting yes.
The board set its next meeting for April 11, 2025, and assigned research on Americans with Disabilities Act allowances and requirements for residential impermeable surfaces. The board recorded three action items: developing a TRB procedures manual (not yet initiated), William (B.) Betts researching local codes pertaining to sheds (priority upgraded), and establishing a definition for 'Legacy tree.' A workshop to review TRB and Town Office processes will be scheduled by the TRB chairman and the Town Clerk. The meeting adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
