At a special meeting June 26, 2026, the City Council voted unanimously to appoint Brian Schuth as the city’s BMV agent and to name Deputy Clerk Sarah Mutter as deputy registrar of voters.
The appointments were approved on motions by Councilor Rhonda Stevens, seconded by Councilor A. J. Seeley; both motions passed 3-0 with Council President William Boone, Councilor Stevens and Councilor Seeley recorded as voting in favor. Councilors Collen Dana-Cummings and Karen Raye were excused.
The first motion, “To appoint Brian Schuth as BMV Agent,” was presented and approved by the council. Shortly afterward the council voted on the second motion, “To appoint Sarah Mutter as Deputy Registrar of Voters,” which also passed 3-0. The meeting was called to order by Council President William Boone at 12:02 p.m. and adjourned at 12:03 p.m.
Minutes for the special meeting were prepared by Deputy Clerk Sarah Mutter. The meeting took place at City Hall, 22 Washington Street.
