Council renews multiple liquor and victualer licenses, denies temporary extension for special event

The Eastport City Council on May 13 renewed liquor licenses for Seaview Events LLC (16 Norwood Road), the Eastport Arts Center (38 Washington Street), Look Lobster Co. (7 Sea/C Street) and Phoenix Fine Wines (73 Water Street), and renewed a victualer license for Look Lobster Co.
Council President William Boone opened the public hearing listing the license renewal requests. Councilor Rhonda Stevens moved each renewal and Councilor A. J. Seeley, or in some cases Councilor Morang, seconded; each renewal motion was approved 4-0. The minutes record the renewals as routine approvals without substantive discussion.
Earlier in the public-hearing sequence, the council denied a Temporary Extension of Premises application for Ye Ole' Hookers (state file 143295) for events scheduled between June 1 and Oct. 31, 2026. Councilor Stevens moved to deny the temporary extension; Councilor Morang seconded and the motion passed 4-0.
The council scheduled additional licensing business for future meetings, including a public hearing on a new victualer license for a pizza food trailer at a June 17 meeting.
