At the start of its May 19 meeting, the Jacksonville City Council unanimously approved the minutes from its May 5 meeting and the bills list for May 19.
Councilor Casaleggio moved to approve the May 5 minutes and Councilor Hellenthal seconded; a roll-call vote recorded six ayes and the motion carried. Later the council approved the bills list on a motion by Councilor Thompson, seconded by Councilor Gregg, also by unanimous roll-call vote.
During discussion of the bills list, Councilor Casaleggio asked about a charge at 203 West Main Street; Administrator Alvis clarified that the charge was for an ADA ramp. Casaleggio also asked about an RVCOG expense; Administrator Alvis said it related to a sidewalk project.
These consent items were approved without recorded opposition and the council moved on to the meeting's action and discussion agenda.
