After returning from two executive sessions on pending litigation, Clark County’s council approved a settlement agreement and stipulation related to litigation titled WISDIS Wall Walnut Grove LLC versus Clark County and authorized the county manager to execute the agreement.
Councilor Little moved the motion: “I make a motion to approve and accept on behalf of the county the settlement agreement and stipulation regarding stay and conditional dismissal in the case of WISDIS Wall Walnut Grove LLC versus Clark County and further that the county manager be authorized to execute the same.” The motion was seconded, the chair called for the ayes and the council voice vote approved the motion. The chair stated the motion carries.
The council did not state the settlement terms on the public record at this meeting. The action followed closed‑door executive sessions held under RCW 42.30.110 for pending litigation; one session was announced as 10 minutes with possible action and a second as 30 minutes without action, and staff announced brief extensions before reconvening the open meeting.
The council adjourned immediately after approving the settlement.
