Artist presents mural BCA grant idea for Community Center exterior

She said the mural would be painted on the downstairs exterior portion of the Community Center because that surface is smoother and receives more foot traffic than the area by the Senior Center.
Grala provided the projected dimensions (12 feet high by 17 feet 10 inches long) and said she will send visual mock-ups to Greg Waks for distribution to the Board of Supervisors. The minutes record no formal vote or design approval at the meeting; the item was presented to gather ideas and obtain preliminary feedback.
The board did not record any objections in the minutes; the project will proceed through the normal BCA grant application and municipal review process.
