Staff explained the amounts reflect Orange County Sanitation District billing combined with city administrative charges.
- CDBG participation: The council adopted Resolution 2026-18 authorizing the city manager to execute a three-year cooperation agreement with Los Angeles County to maintain eligibility for Community Development Block Grant funding, which the staff said primarily supports the city’s paramedic membership program.
- Appointments and surplus property: The council recommended resident Jim Pond for the Puente Hills Habitat Authority Technical Advisory Committee (CTAC) and approved declaring several aging fire vehicles as surplus and authorizing their disposition by public auction with proceeds returned to the fire fund.
All measures were approved during the meeting’s consent/administrative business and roll-call votes were recorded on the record.
