New Port Richey swears in firefighter Vinny Maniscalco

The presenter said Maniscalco pursued firefighting after seeing local firefighters assist family members and wanted to "pay that back" by serving his community.
During the oath, the city clerk administered the standard oath of office. Maniscalco repeated the pledge to support the constitutions of the United States and Florida and to faithfully discharge his duties as a firefighter. Family members and firefighter colleagues participated in the badge pinning and group photographs.
Mayor and council members congratulated Maniscalco and thanked the fire department staff on the record for their service.
