Cambria board updates Fiscalini Ranch plan review, expands ad hoc committee to include budgeting

Director Michael Thomas requested additional changes; the board asked him to provide those comments to the Ad Hoc Committee and for staff to post his comments on the district website. Director Tom Gray moved to appoint an Ad Hoc Committee to work with the Friends of the Fiscalini Ranch (FFRP) on budgeting based on the plan and to update the committee’s responsibilities to include the budgeting work; Vice President Karen Dean seconded. Director Thomas requested that the committee be continued for the expanded scope; Gray accepted the amendment.
The motion passed unanimously, with Ayes — 5 (Harry Farmer, Karen Dean, Tom Gray, Debra Scott and Michael Thomas). The minutes indicate the board expects staff and the Ad Hoc Committee to review Director Thomas' suggested revisions with the FFRP and to return the item to the board for formal consideration and possible adoption.
