The Resident Services Advisory Board on Wednesday publicly swore in Susan Schwartz as a member of the board.
A staff member led the oath of office and Schwartz repeated the pledge to support and obey the U.S. and Florida constitutions and to observe the village charter and ordinances. "I'm excited to be here and get involved," Schwartz said after she was sworn in.
Board members welcomed Schwartz and noted they looked forward to her participation on upcoming projects, including community events and volunteer initiatives. The chair asked members to submit agenda items in time for Isabelle to post them before the next meeting.
Schwartz said she has owned her house for seven to eight years and that she plans to be an active participant on the board. The meeting adjourned at 7:00 p.m.; members noted the next meeting will be scheduled and that staff will confirm dates in advance.
