The recorded contract-price impact is a decrease of $37,000 based on bid unit pricing. Rice Lake Construction will transfer ownership of a hydrant purchased for Well 4 to the city; the contractor will be paid $9,000 for the hydrant and valve-box assembly.
The payment application and the work change order were approved by motion (Rice Lake Payment Application #18: motion by Sandy Nelson, second Joe Boeringa; WCOD No. 002: motion by Bill Hill, second Randy Anderson), each recorded as approved by the council. The council packet indicated the project is approximately 97% constructed and 92% paid at the time of the meeting.
