New Haven approves 2025 pool staff, Aqua Fitness and scuba demonstration

The New Haven Board of Commissioners approved staffing and programming for the city pool’s 2025 season at the April 17 meeting.
Supervisors approved: Allie DeWitt, Tammi Nalley and Lacy Coyle Hatfield. Approved lifeguards listed in the minutes were Alex Hassell, Nevaeh Jones, Lorelea Jones, Azlynn Vance, Ava Culver, Kloie Hutchins, Lillian Wade, Isabelle Perry, Reagan Sidebottom and Waylon Varney. The Board also approved returning recreation offerings: an Aqua Fitness class and a Scuba Diving Demonstration.
Commissioner Ruth Faulkner moved to approve the hires and the programs; Mike Morris seconded and the minutes record a unanimous vote in favor. The meeting was then adjourned on a motion by Faulkner and seconded by Morris.
