At its Nov. 12 meeting the Britton-Hecla School District 45-4 board approved corrected Oct. 15 minutes, financial statements, and bills presented by Business Manager Madisyn Neiber.
The minutes and financials showed a general fund beginning balance of $839,629.54 and an ending balance of $672,965.34 after October revenue and expenditures; the transcript lists total payroll net checks for October at $212,743.97. The business manager identified several vendor payments, including Eide Bailly audit services for $15,750.00 and Otter Tail Power Co. electricity for $9,414.54. A capital outlay purchase listed was a Valley Plains snow blower for $16,989.99.
The board reviewed and approved the district’s transportation pay schedule: regular driver rates listed at $49.98–$53.98, activity trips at $84.00, mid bus/suburban at $35.00, special-education bus at $34.14 (one student) and $44.14 (two students), bus extra hours at $12.00 per hour, and sub bus driver at $53.98.
The board voted to accept the business manager’s reports and bills; the approval included corrected minutes and the updated pay schedule. The board’s next regular meeting is Dec. 9 at 6:00 p.m.
