Chair Christi Unger opened the Jan. 14 meeting and moved to approve the Nov. 11, 2025 minutes; Vice Chair Sayra DeVito seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Under correspondence, the commission recorded receipt of the NH Humanities newsletter, confirmation of membership payment to the NH Preservation Alliance (membership expires December 2026), a Christmas card from Arago Land Consultants, and a 1915 postcard from Wayne Durkee postmarked from Fremont.
Josh Manning distributed a draft poster describing the Community Center when it served as the Fire Association Hall and provided new photographs for the commission’s archival work. Marianne Sears referenced Reminiscences (page 84) in which Howard Collins discusses construction and procurement of materials for the Hall, and she brought a sample of the Danville Gazette, noting how the paper was distributed historically by local scouts and listing local businesses and industries (Gorton, Kimball, Ladd’s stores; chenille and shoe factories; fox farm).
The commission noted there will be no work session in January. Chair Unger moved, and Vice Chair DeVito seconded, a motion to adjourn at 8:22 p.m.; the motion carried "all in favor."
