Preston council approves RFP for community recreation center; signs off on routine licenses, donations and plat amendments

All motions passed unanimously.
In public comment Paul McKay questioned a parking citation issued during the rodeo; police clarified the citation was for parking over the fog line rather than an enforcement decision tied to the rodeo committee. Melanie Keller gave a brief update on the Farmers Market, describing a successful first year.
What happens next: the RFP timeline will proceed to solicit architectural proposals; routine approvals will be processed by staff per standard procedures.
