The Preston City Council approved its consent calendar during a Dec. 9 meeting, releasing two 50% cut-permit bond refunds and recording several business licenses.
Council approved releasing $730 to Cody Ralphs for work at 300 and 340 East 4th North and $417 to Steven and Amber Spillett for work at 643 South 1st East, following a motion by Councilmember Terry Larson and a second from Councilmember Chris Larsen. The motion passed unanimously.
The council also recorded approvals of business licenses for Kameron Johnson; JKJ Properties LLC (Dustin Jensen); Brookside Construction LLC (Chett Jensen); Preston Gear Garage LLC (Danielle Henline); and Danielle Henline Coaching. Separately, Councilmember Todd Thomas moved and Terry Larson seconded canceling the council’s Dec. 23 meeting; that motion passed unanimously.
By front-loading routine items, the council cleared the agenda to consider development and community facility matters later in the session.
