Rigby council approves consent items, personnel leave transfers and signatory updates

During its Feb. 5 meeting the Rigby City Council approved routine and personnel actions on a unanimous vote. Councilman Reed Stone moved to approve the Jan. 22 minutes with an amendment correcting an earlier Accounts Payable attribution; the motion was seconded by Councilman Alex Espinosa and carried unanimously. The council then approved the February accounts payable by roll call.
Police Chief Allen Fullmer requested permission to allow coworkers to transfer accrued sick leave to a newer officer facing a medical procedure; Councilwoman Tonya Hillman moved to approve, the motion was seconded by Councilman Reed Stone and carried unanimously. The council also approved Resolution #228-2026 authorizing signatory changes for the new mayor and council president and Resolution #229-2026 authorizing signatory changes for the Police Reserve Fund; both passed by unanimous roll call.
The council convened an executive session at 8:02 p.m. under Idaho Code 74-206(1)(f) to discuss potential litigation and exited the session at 8:59 p.m. The meeting adjourned immediately afterward.
