Mustang Park restroom set; special meeting scheduled to approve contracts

Jaden Jackson of Keller Associates told the Roberts City Council on Sept. 10 that the Mustang Park restroom structure has been set and is awaiting electrical connections. He said Knife River will install park paths and remove the remaining basketball court as part of finishing work.
April Galbraith told the council that Dennis at the Idaho Department of Commerce has sent the contract documentation for the project, and that the engineering and administrative contracts still require council approval. The council set a special meeting for Sept. 11 at 6:30 p.m. to consider those contracts.
Separately, Ron Grant reported most of the city’s water-line survey is complete and that April will compile the data for submission to the Department of Environmental Quality. Ron noted the waterline to the Mustang Park bathroom has been completed and that parking lines were repainted on 650 North. He also said he will be on vacation beginning Sept. 28 through October and that staff are coordinating with Mountain West Environmental to ensure water and wastewater systems continue to operate while he is away.
