Roberts awards $2.29 million wastewater construction contract to Edstrom Construction

Council members Benjamin Poston, Shauna Lounsbury, Edidt Sanchez and James Zillinger recorded aye votes during roll call, and the motion passed. Construction was described as likely beginning around January; staff noted that winter construction could reduce dewatering costs because groundwater is lower in the colder months.
The council did not provide additional contract details, such as a construction timeline or schedule of payments, during the meeting. Council members directed staff to proceed with the award and begin preconstruction coordination with the contractor and engineering staff.
