Selectman Pitt said the onus is on the property owner to determine whether the lot is buildable and that the town would become involved if and when a building permit is submitted.
The board also reviewed sign permit applications: a permit for Marlborough Country Store (Map 14-057) was approved, and no permit was required for a Welcome sign at 1 Main Street.
