Bushnell asked how the district would respond to potential cuts in federal education funding and urged the board to be prepared for those scenarios. She also said the district should begin recording meetings and pledged to monitor local school districts’ library collections for compliance with state law. Finally, she urged the board not to restrict non-agenda public comment to only educational topics. She declined to state her address aloud, noting she had provided it on the sign-in sheet.
