Post Falls board reorganizes officers, appoints treasurer and clerk and sets 2025 meeting schedule

Vice Chair Sara Rodriguez called the Post Falls School District No. 273 board to order at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 13 at River City Middle School and led a reorganization of board officers for 2025. Trustees present at roll call were Logan Creighton, Paul Wagner and Jake Dawson; Chair Neil Uhrig attended remotely.
Trustee Logan Creighton moved to disband the Board as part of reorganizing leadership; Trustee Jake Dawson seconded and the motion passed on a unanimous roll-call vote. Creighton then nominated Trustee Neil Uhrig for Chair for 2025; Dawson seconded and the nomination was approved unanimously. Trustee Dawson was nominated and approved as Vice Chair; the board likewise voted unanimously to appoint Josh Gittel as District Treasurer and Kerri Zeller as Clerk for 2025. The trustees reviewed and signed a Code of Ethics.
The board also approved a standing schedule of regular monthly meetings to be held on the second Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at River City Middle School. Trustees voted to post public notice of the meeting schedule at each school site, the district office and on the district website. All recorded motions in these reorganizational items passed with unanimous aye votes.
The meeting was turned over to Superintendent Dena Naccarato for the remainder of the agenda; the session adjourned at 6:15 p.m.
