The Priest River City Council on Sept. 16 approved a series of contract payments and a balancing change order tied to ongoing water and sewer capital work.
Council Member Mullaley moved to approve final Pay Request #2 from C.E. Kramer & Crane Contracting, Inc., for the Raw Water Intake Extension Project not to exceed $11,659.25; the motion passed unanimously. The council also approved Balancing Change Order #2 with J7 Contracting, Inc., adding $5,245 with no additional contract days, and approved final Pay Request #3 from J7 Contracting for the Larch Street Sewer Improvements Project not to exceed $10,908.50; both motions passed unanimously.
Council also approved draw #17 from the USDA Rural Development grant program to pay B&E Electric Invoice #CS4230 for $625.00 to support water system improvements. These approvals close or advance several capital-contract items identified in recent project updates; council records show each motion passed with unanimous support from the four council members present.
