The Pratt City Commission took several routine and business votes on Oct. 20.
Agenda and minutes: The commission approved the meeting agenda for Oct. 20, 2025, and the minutes from the regular Oct. 6 meeting by voice vote.
Christmas in the Park — Lemon Park closure: Amy Prater, representing the Christmas in the Park committee, requested closure of Lemon Park on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025, with gates unlocked about 12:00 p.m., closure beginning about 2:00 p.m., and gates reopening about 5:30 p.m. Prater said the committee will provide event insurance and vendor liability no later than Nov. 10; staff also requested extra trash cans for the expected crowd. The commission approved the closure by voice vote.
Used truck purchase: Public works staff described a used truck on offer from local C and R Services for tree work and snow removal. The commission approved a $22,000 funding request to purchase the truck from C and R Services by voice vote.
Adjournment: The commission adjourned at the close of the meeting.
