Council approves small engineering amendment and project payments for water and wastewater work

The Priest River City Council on Aug. 19 approved several project-related payments and a small engineering amendment for wastewater and water system work.
Council approved Amendment #5 to the Welch Comer engineering agreement for wastewater system improvements, not to exceed an additional $3,300. Council Member Turner moved the amendment and Council Member Mullaley seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
The council approved Pay Request #2 for Amped Pump & Control, LLC for the Upper Booster Station Rehabilitation Project in the amount of $5,818.75, with Mullaley moving and Turner seconding. The council then approved USDA-RD Grant Pay Request #16 authorizing payment of Welch Comer Invoice #14778280-009 for $385.00 and payment of Amped Pump & Control Pay Request #2 for $5,818.75; Turner moved and Mullaley seconded. All motions passed unanimously.
Separately, the council approved Resolution 24-058 to transfer funds into the State Investment Pool; Council Member Mullaley moved the resolution and Council Member Turner seconded, and the motion passed unanimously. The minutes record no dissent and do not attach additional conditions to the payments or amendment.
These approvals fund ongoing wastewater and water system improvements and obligate grant and local funds toward consultant and contractor invoices.
