Priest River adopts $3.74 million FY25 budget under suspension of rules

At the public hearing conducted pursuant to Idaho Code 50-1002, council members reviewed the proposed fund totals: General Fund $1,321,333; Street Fund $643,197; Water Fund $944,520; Sewer Fund $816,751; Impact Fee Fund $15,216; total appropriations $3,741,017. No written or oral testimony opposed the budget during the hearing.
Council Member Turner moved to adopt Ordinance 637 under suspension of the rules; Council Member Mullaley seconded. The motion passed unanimously: Turner, Brower, Mullaley and Wagner voting aye and no nays recorded.
The ordinance establishes the city’s spending authority for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1, 2024. The minutes record no additional conditions or amendments attached to the adoption.
