During the public comment period at the May 7 Selectboard meeting, residents raised several concerns about how the town communicates with the public.
Speakers called for better website notifications and RSS feed updates, clearer public information about the grader purchase, improved access to materials posted online, and adherence to Open Meeting Law posting and public notice rules. The Selectboard agreed to continue discussion of communication methods at the next regular meeting.
Residents’ remarks came amid two executive sessions and a pair of procedural votes; the board recorded the attendance of multiple Selectboard members and staff and indicated it will return to the communications topic with follow-up actions at a later date.
