Commissioners were told LRW is awaiting parts for the PS6 main-line feed and will begin excavation to meet the revised date; pump-station meter issues at PS3 were under LRW investigation.
The board approved LRW invoice #10182 for $36,699.45 on a motion by Commissioner Brian McCall, seconded by Lou Combe, with the vote recorded as unanimous. The board also approved the monthly LRW invoice, which included a late fee of $7,395; that motion was likewise approved unanimously. Commissioners noted the reprogramming cost for PS6 arrived higher than expected ($13,767) and requested LRW include third-party invoices when billing and to provide advance notice if costs will exceed estimates. LRW brought a proposed contract to the board; commissioners said they will review the contract at an upcoming work session before any signing.
Treasurer Todd Maddock presented the LRW invoices at the meeting. Commissioners directed staff to track change orders and third-party costs more closely so the board can review cost drivers and contract terms before authorizing future payments.
