The Village of Bartlett board approved two class D liquor license applications on July 21.
Trustee Bannerman presented an application from Ignite the Courage for a class D license to serve alcohol at the Smoke and Irons music festival, scheduled for Aug. 7–8 at 620 West Stearns Road. "I move to approve the class D liquor license application submitted by Ignite the Courage for an event on August 7th and 8th," Bannerman said. The motion was seconded and passed by roll call.
The board also approved a class D license for the Hanover Township Food Truck Festival on Sept. 17 at 240 South Illinois Route 59; staff confirmed the certificate of insurance had been reviewed and approved before the vote.
Both motions carried without extended debate. The approvals were recorded with roll call votes and the clerk noted the motions carried.
