Harrison council approves marina liquor license, planning appointment and grant applications; sets budget hearing

The Harrison City Council approved a series of administrative motions and grant applications at its regular meeting on April 9, 2025, at the Harrison Senior Center.
The council approved the consent calendar, which included payment of bills for March 2025 and the minutes from the March 12 meeting. Council member Josephine Prophet moved to approve the consent calendar; Will Butler seconded, and the motion passed 5-1 with Council member Joe Cornell voting no.
Among the individual actions, the council approved the 2025 Harrison Marina liquor license. Council member Joe Cornell moved to approve the license; the motion passed 5-1 with Council member Josephine Prophet voting no.
The council also confirmed the appointment of Tim Rothlisberger to the Planning and Zoning Commission. Joe Cornell moved to appoint Rothlisberger and Josephine Prophet seconded; the appointment passed 5-1, with Will Butler voting no.
